We crave dark skies! Unfortunately in order to get the darkest skies possible we often go far from the bright lights of San Antonio. But there are observing sites in the city, such as Curtis Vaughan Observatory.

Places such as public or state parks areoften good observing options. Always check with the local or state park websites for access and hours.

These example locations include a Clear Sky Chart , showing the predicted observing conditions.
